Hi everyone! Just thought I'd post my crafting rotation for those wannabe crafters out there. I'm not the most geared crafter out there, I only have 6 crafting classes fully levelled, and only one of them is fully geared, but on my culinarian I can pretty consistently produce 3 star HQ items, with about a 90% success rate. As far as I am aware there is not rotation out there at the moment that guarantees 100% success rate on HQ 3 star items.

Before we start, this is what you need to have in order to be successful at this rotation.

Food: I suggest HQ chilled popoto soup, gives 47 craftsmanship and 17 cp. Pure CP or pure control food is viable as well, just make sure it's high level crafting food.

Cross class skills: I suggest getting all your crafting classes to max level before you try to HQ 2 or 3 star items. In particular, these are the skills that are vital to this rotation:
- Byregots blessing (Carpenter level 50)
- Hasty touch (Culinarian level 15)
- Steady hand 2 (Culinarian level 37)
- Rapid synthesis (Armourer level 15)
- Manipulation (Goldsmith level 15)
- Innovation (Goldsmith level 50)
- Tricks of the trade (Alchemist level 15)
- Comfort zone (Alchemist level 50)
- Careful synthesis 2 (Weaver level 50)
- Reclaim (Culinarian level 50) - for those "Oh shit!" moments when RNGesus punishes you

Make sure all your components are HQ of course

The reasoning behind this rotation:
- We rely on steady hand 2 and hasty touch to increase quality and build stacks of inner quiet. With zero CP cost, 100% quality increase, and an 80% success rate, this is the most efficient way of building quality.
- We rely on steady hand 2 and rapid synthesis to increase progress. With zero CP cost, an 80% success rate and 250% progress increase, it is the most efficient way by far to increase progress
- We rely on byregots blessing, buffed with inner quiet stacks and great strides and innovation, for a final massive burst of quality at the end. With 9 or more stacks of inner quiet, a single buffed byregots at the end should get you an increase in quality of >1500
- We do not have enough CP to accomplish all the above, so to regain CP we use comfort zone, and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, we use tricks of the trade whenever it is available.
- The above is heavily reliant on chance, because the success rate of hasty touch and rapid synthesis is only 80%, and you rely on tricks of the trade procs to have enough CP. If you are very unlucky, reclaim is in there to allow you to cut your losses if it is obvious that you are not going to succeed.

The rotation (assuming an 80 durability item, you should have about 360 CP for this to have a good chance of success)

1. Comfort zone (from now on, reapply comfort zone every time it wears off)
2. Inner quiet
3. Stead hand 2 (from now on, reapply steady hand 2 whenever it wears off, unless you are about to use a skill with 100% success, like masters mend 2, manipulation, or careful synthesis 2)
–- MAKE SURE STEADY HAND 2 IS UP EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE HASTY TOUCH OR RAPID SYNTHESIS
4. Hasty touch until 20 durability
5. At 20 durability, masters mend 2 to get you back up to 80 durability
6. 3 x rapid synthesis to get you to within 100 progress of completion. Make sure steady hand 2 is up for all of these.
7. Manipulation (preferably when steady hand 2 wears off. If steady hand 2 is still up, just use hasty touch until it wears off)
8. Steady hand 2 –-> hasty touch 2 until you reach 30 durability
9. Reapply steady hand 2 if you have less than 3 turns of it remaining
10. Great strides
11. (if you get a good condition at this stage, skip this step) Innovation
11a. (if you have been unlucky and you don't quite have as much quality as you'd like, you can use a careful synthesis after innovation to pass a turn and hope for a good or excellent condition for byregots)
12. Byregots blessing
13. 2x careful synthesis 2 to finish off the item

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT:
- IF AT ANY STAGE YOU GET A GOOD CONDITION AND YOUR CP IS NOT FULL, MAKE SURE YOU USE TRICKS OF THE TRADE TO REGEN CP. The only exception to this is if you are reaching the end of your synthesis and you have a lot of CP remaining (in which case you should use a basic touch/expert touch depending how much CP you have remaining), or you are about to use byregots.
- By the time you use byregots, you should have 9 stacks or more of inner quiet. If you do not, then you will find it hard to reach 100% quality. With 8 stacks you can take a chance and hope for a good condtion on byregots to get you to 100%. If you have less than 8, or you feel like you will not reach 8 stacks with the amount of durability you have remaining, now is the time to hit reclaim and try and cut your losses.
- If you get an excellent condition at any stage, use a basic touch on it instead of hasty touch, to make sure you don't fail. On the following step with poor condtion, use a synthesis move, not a touch move (either rapid synthesis, or careful synthesis 2)
- Make sure all your component materials are HQ of course

Happy crafting all : )
